สวัสดีครับ ต้องขออภัยเป็นอย่างสูงที่ห่างหายจากการอัพเดทไปนาน ตอนนี้ตัดสินใจจ่ายตังค์ให้ wix ไปเรียบร้อยหลังจากใช้ของฟรีมาแสนนาน มีของมากมายรอการรีวิวเลยครับเพราะสอยโน่นนี่มาเรื่อยเกือบ 10 รายการ เขียนเล่นกันไปได้อีกยาว ๆ วันนี้ขอเปิดเรื่องกันด้วยเลนส์ยอดนิยมตัวหนึ่งของไลก้า วนเวียนเฉียดกันไปมาไม่ได้เจอกันสักที มาโดนกันก็คราวนี้เองกับ Leica Summicron 35 f2 V4 (King of Bokeh) ต่อไปจะขอเรียกว่า KOB นะครับ
Hello there! I apologize for being away for so long from updating. Now, I've decided to pay for Wix after using the free version for a long time. There are many things waiting for reviews because I've been buying stuff here and there, almost 10 items. Let's kick things off today with one of the most popular lenses from Leica. It's been circulating around but we haven't met yet. So, let's meet now with the Leica Summicron 35mm f/2 V4 (King of Bokeh). From now on, let's call it KOB, shall we?

This lens has been renowned in the industry for quite some time, ever since the new wave of camera enthusiasts emerged over a decade ago. Back then, even when it was priced at around fifty to sixty thousand baht, I hesitated to buy it, feeling that it was expensive. But now, look at what's happened—I almost spent a hundred thousand on it! This lens has been in production for a long time, a total of 17 years, from 1979 to 1996. It gained immense popularity following the Summicron 8e V1. Personally, I'm not entirely sure why the V2 and V3 versions weren't as popular as the first version, even though...

ส่วนนึงที่ V2 V3 ไม่เป็นที่นิยมอาจเพราะมีการลดชิ้นเลนส์จาก V1 ที่มี 8 ชิ้น 6 กลุ่ม มาเป็น V2 ที่เหลือ 6 ชิ้น 4 กลุ่มแล้วขายราคาถูกลง แถมขายทับในช่วงเวลาเดียวกับที่ V1 ยังวางขายอยู่ด้วย อาจจะทำให้ความรู้สึกของผู้ใช้งานสงสัยว่ามันเป็นรุ่นประหยัดแล้วคุณภาพมันจะด้อยลงด้วยไหม ส่วน V3 สูตรเลนส์ออกมาเหมือน V2 เลยก็เดาว่าน่าจะโดนเหมาไปด้วยกัน อันนี้ไม่ทราบได้ และออกตัวไว้ ณ ที่นี้ว่ายังไม่เคยได้ลองเล่น V2 V3 เลยนะครับ
One reason why the V2 and V3 versions may not have been popular is that they reduced the number of lens elements from 8 elements in 6 groups in the V1 to 6 elements in 4 groups in the V2, resulting in a lower price. Additionally, they were introduced at the same time as the V1 was still being sold, which may have raised concerns among users about whether the newer versions were inferior in quality. As for the V3, since its lens formula was similar to the V2, it may have faced similar skepticism. However, it's uncertain whether these factors played a role, as I haven't had the chance to try out the V2 and V3 myself.
เรามาว่าเรื่อง V4 ของเราดีกว่า ส่วนตัวผมว่าคุณภาพมันก็ไม่ได้ดี (ขนาดนั้น) นะครับ แต่ดังเพราะรีวิว ดังเพราะฉายาที่ได้รับมาจากความไม่สมประกอบของภาพที่ได้จากมันนี่แหละครับ KOB ออกแบบเลนส์มาในโครงสร้าง 7 ชิ้น 5 กลุ่ม ผลิตมาทั้งหมดร่วม 53,000 ตัว รวมพวกตัวลิมิเตดต่าง ๆ ที่ช่วงนั้นไลก้าเริ่มสนุกและทำออกมาหลายแบบ อาทิ Safari, Thailand, Going Public, Limited สำหรับ M4P และสี Silver chrome ใช้สูตรแบบ double gauss เหมือน V1-3 เรียกว่าให้ภาพได้แบบไลก้า Vintage ที่นักเล่นถวิลหากันครับ
Let's talk about the V4, which is considered better. Personally, I don't think its quality is that much better, but it's renowned due to reviews and the reputation it gained from the unique characteristics of the images it produces. The KOB lens is designed with a 7-element, 5-group structure, with a total production of 53,000 units, including various limited editions released during the period when Leica started to explore and experiment with different styles, such as the Safari, Thailand, Going Public, and Limited editions for the M4P, along with the Silver chrome version. It uses a double Gauss formula like the V1-3, known for providing images with a vintage Leica feel that enthusiasts seek out.
ข้อดีของเจ้าเลนส์จำพวก Summicron V1-V4 คือมันเล็ก เบา พกง่าย ให้ภาพได้อารมณ์ แต่พอขึ้น V5 ASPH. แล้วเรียบร้อยครับ คอนทราสต์หนักแน่น ภาพคมกริ๊บ ๆ เป็นไลก้ายุคใหม่ไปละ ไม่ใช่ไม่ดีนะครับ บางคนเน้นคุณภาพจะชอบ บางคนก็อาจไม่ “สบอารมณ์” แต่ที่แน่ ๆ V5 ใหญ่และหนักกว่าชัดเจน
The advantage of lenses like the Summicron V1-V4 is that they are small, lightweight, and easy to carry, providing images with a distinct mood. However, with the introduction of the V5 ASPH., things became more refined. The contrast became heavier, and the images sharper, reflecting a more modern Leica era. It's not that it's not good; some people who emphasize quality will appreciate it, while others may not feel the same emotional connection. But one thing is certain: the V5 is larger and heavier, yet offers clearer images.

And then, here we are. We finally meet the King of Bokeh in pristine condition, with its iconic German craftsmanship. Who wouldn't want to have this, right? All the images here are taken with the 35KOB paired with the M11. Feel free to consider and evaluate as you wish.

ไม่เอาไม่ห้วนขนาดนั้น คือจะบอกว่า KOB เนี่ยผมว่าเปิด f2 กว้างสุด ภาพมันไม่ได้คมอย่างใจ โบเก้ก็วนเป็นหอยเลยเพราะหน้าเลนส์เล็ก Vignette ก็เยอะอยู่ แต่หลายท่านชี้ให้ดูอารมณ์ของเลนส์นะครับพี่น้อง ต้องยอมรับว่า KOB เป็นเลนส์อีกรุ่นที่ให้สีสันหวานสวยนะครับ โทนอบอุ่น เปิด f กว้างสุดถึงแม้ภาพไม่ได้คมคายแต่มี glow ให้เห็นพองาม ขอบเบลอ ๆ ลองพิจารณาภาพกันดูครับ ถ่ายกับ M11 นะครับพิจารณาร่วมกับคาแรกเตอร์ภาพจากกล้องกันด้วยนะครับ แต่สำหรับผมพอภาพมันไม่ค่อยคมแล้วมันเลยพาลไม่สนุกกับอย่างอื่นไปด้วยครับ
Understood, let me rephrase that for you. I want to say that when I opened the King of Bokeh (KOB) to its widest aperture at f/2, the image wasn't as sharp as expected. The bokeh turned into swirls due to the small lens front, and there was significant vignetting. However, many have pointed out the lens's character. I have to admit that the KOB is another lens that offers beautiful colors and warm tones, and even though the image may not be sharp when wide open at f/2, it has a pleasing glow and soft edges. Let's consider the images together, taken with the M11, and also take into account the camera's first curtain shutter. But for me, as the image wasn't particularly sharp, it didn't make other aspects enjoyable either.

What impressed me about the King of Bokeh (KOB) is the 3D pop. Even when the background is blurred, it still gives a noticeable depth, which is quite impressive.
อีกจุดที่ต้องชี้ให้ดูคือความกลมกล่อมของภาพที่ KOB ให้ได้ เลนส์ตัวนี้ถ่ายมาแล้วมันเหมือนได้รับประทานกับข้าวที่บ้าน รสชาติไม่จัดจ้าน อร่อย พอดี แตกต่างจากร้านอาหารทั่วไปในปัจจุบันที่รสจัด หวานก็หวานมาก เผ็ดก็เผ็ดมาก กินมันส์ กินสนุก แต่ไม่อร่อยกลมกล่อมเหมือนกับข้าวบ้านครับ ภาพที่ได้จาก KOB คอนทราสต์จะไม่จัดจ้าน ไม่คมบาดตา สีสันเรนเดอร์มาหวานสวย ใช้แล้วก็คิดถึง Summilux 35 V4 อยู่เหมือนกัน บางภาพถ่ายองค์ประกอบไม่ได้เรื่องแต่กลับรู้สึกสนใจ เหมือนภาพมันมีอะไร
Another point worth noting is the gentle and rounded quality of the images produced by the King of Bokeh (KOB). When using this lens, the resulting images feel like having a home-cooked meal—pleasant and satisfying, without being overly bold or intense like many modern-day dishes that tend to be strongly flavored. The images from the KOB lens have a gentle contrast, not too harsh on the eyes, and render colors with a sweet and beautiful rendition. It's reminiscent of the Summilux 35 V4 in this aspect. Some images may not capture attention at first, but there's a lingering sense of intrigue, as if there's something more to them.
สรุปกันว่าเลนส์ตัวนี้เป็นอย่างไรบ้าง ซื้อดีหรือไม่ ไม่ต้องห่วง ผมเชียร์ให้ซื้อทุกตัวนั่นแหละครับ อันนี้ต้องขอให้ไปลองกันเองครับ ผมขายไปละ ฮ่ะๆ อย่างน้อย KOB มันต้องมีดีถูกใจมหาชนแหละไม่อย่างนั้นคงไม่ดังติดลมบนมายาวนานขนาดนี้ ผมเห็นคนก็หากันอยู่เรื่อย บางคนก็ปักธงไว้เป็นเป้าหมาย ราคามันก็เลยไม่เคยลง ผมว่าเลนส์ตัวนี้ก็เป็นตัวนึงที่ซื้อมาเล่นกันได้สบาย ๆ นะครับ ชอบก็เก็บไว้ เบื่อก็ขายต่อไป อย่าไปคิดอะไรมาก เจ็บตัวก็เจ็บไม่มาก ถือยาวก็อาจมีกำไร อย่างไรก็ตามเข้าวงการกล้องไล่กามาแล้วก็เล่นให้สนุกครับ ยิ่งเลนส์แต่ละตัวคาแรกเตอร์ต่างกันมีมากมาย มันแมตช์กับสไตล์การถ่ายภาพของแต่ละคนได้หลากหลายสุด ๆ นี่คือเสน่ห์ที่เราค้นหาเท่าไรก็ไม่มีคำว่า “ตัว” จบครับ คราวหน้ามาต่อกันด้วยเลนส์ที่ไลก้าเองเรียกว่า The true king of bokeh กันครับ สวัสดี…
In summary, whether this lens is worth buying depends on personal preference and shooting style. I cheer for everyone to try it out themselves. As for me, I've sold mine, but at least with the King of Bokeh (KOB), it's something that brings joy and satisfaction. If you like it, keep it; if you get tired of it, sell it. Don't overthink it. It may bring profit in the long run. However, the most important thing is to enjoy photography. Each lens has its own character and matches different shooting styles, which is the charm we're all looking for. There's no definitive answer.
